The session focused on multinational hiring trends, employer expectations, and how students can prepare before graduation, with lively interaction throughout the event.
The talk featured industry speaker Gwen Lee, who brings extensive cross-sector professional experience. She has previously worked as a project manager in multinational companies, a brand marketing specialist, and a product manager for international organizations. Her background also includes business management, sustainability evaluation, career advising, and university teaching. With long-term involvement in talent development and career mentoring, she offered valuable insights into multinational recruitment trends and industry expectations.

A major highlight of the talk was the introduction of the “6 Key Qualities for MNCs”: Language & Communication Skills, Professional Expertise, Problem-Solving Skills, IQ, EQ, and CQ (Cultural Intelligence Quotient). Among these, cultural intelligence and cross-cultural communication were emphasized as especially valuable in multinational workplaces and key strengths for international students and globally minded graduates.
The talk also addressed the impact of AI on the job market, examining careers likely to be transformed by AI as well as high-paying professions that remain difficult to replace. Students were encouraged to think strategically about future career planning and industry changes. The speaker noted that creativity, communication, strategic thinking, and sound judgment will become increasingly important in the AI era.
The event received highly positive feedback. Post-event survey results showed strong satisfaction with the topic, speaker performance, and overall experience, reflecting the practical and inspiring value of the program.
